Let's Start with the Basics

EnviroMumma was created as a place for our family to document our day-by-day life, and the little steps we are taking to reduce our footprint on the earth.

We have 2 little boys, and want them to be able to not only live to their full potential, but also to be able to experience the full potential of our beautiful world.

Here we will share eco tips and tricks, environmentally friendly recommendations and alternatives, and little bits and pieces of our life along the way, as we learn and grow. We are not perfect, nor are we striving for perfectionism. This is a simple little blog, which might inspire others to think about their daily habits too.

Big changes start small. They start with you, and me. We need to take ownership of our own lives, and the waste that we create. If we can focus on our own initiatives, this will flow-on, and become bigger.

Let's get back to buying local organic produce, to supporting our small local businesses, buying handmade (or better yet, making your own or upcycling!) making ethical and environmentally friendly choices, embracing second-hand pieces, using a home-compost, recycling everything we possibly can, reducing (and hopefully eliminating altogether) our use of one-time plastic items, and eliminating toxic items from our homes, lives and the planet.
